Well was watching YouTube clips and videos of “ICE arrests” or ICE Raids where they “raid courthouses” and arrest illegal immigrants when they’re in court? Whats your opinion or take on Trumps Border Czar Tom Homan? Do you feel like he’s doing his job well and protecting our borders and deporting criminal aliens? Or would you argue he’s being too “extreme” or maybe being too “Draconian”? Harsh and Severe? I would perhaps argue that people who are here in the country illegally could be considered “criminals” because they are not here in the United States with legal status, regardless of whether they actually committed any “real harmful crimes” or not??
Border Czar.....I think he is just a big pompous ass and a blow hard perfect Fox material.. Where are these millions of people he's deporting? He's made a few busts for show and that's about it. So far, it's probably cost a million bucks a head.
Tom Homan supports separating children from their parents ("intellectual father" of the policy), he supports mass arrests, he supports an anti-Muslim hate group, and is a a consultant for a private prison group which earns profits from imprisoning immigrates. We've seen his type before.
I wonder how Trump's term will be portrayed in history lessons 50+ years from now. The US was formed after a pointless civil war, but little has changed. Without any wars of their own, the US had meddled almost everywhere in the world, with little true understanding of the REAL situations. No one ever seemed to question why during the so called war in terror, WHY while the US could not get near to the taliban caves, BBC reporters were sitting in those caves drinking tea. Even after 9/11, the penny never dropped. US presidents play both real and metaphorical war games, while the citizens are cannon fodder. To me, the only solution would be giving the states home rule, held together by systems such as the EU and NATO. With so much diversity, the united states does not need a president. It is as stupid as appointing one headmaster to run every school. Perhaps people should study WHY, while we are geographically part of the EU area, we distanced ourselves from the EU bureaucrats when they started getting too big for their boots.
What civil war led to the formation of the U.S.? I had thought it was formed after a rebellion of British colonies. What do you mean "without any wars of their own"? The U.S. has officially declared war against the United Kingdom, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Japan, Austria-Hungary, Italy, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Romania. They have had undeclared wars against France, Morocco, Tripolitania, Algiers, Paraguay, Commune of Estonia, Far Eastern Republic, Latvia, Mongolian People's Party, Russia, Ukraine, etc. I assume the U.S. could not get to the Taliban caves, becasue the Taliban didn't want them there whereas they wanted BBC reporters. "Even after 9/11, the penny never dropped." What does that mean? "To me, the only solution would be giving the states home rule, held together by systems such as the EU and NATO." The states already have home rule held together by a federal system such as the EU and NATO. That's why it's called The United States of America.
We kind did that under the Articles of Confederation and (some of us) the Confederacy. Didn't work out. As a Brit, you may perceive more regional discontent than there actually is. I think the vast majority of us still have a primary loyalty to the U.S. , although different ideas about how it should be run.
At some point, ICE may decide to rent out their detainees to commercial companies for $50 per day and pay the detainees 50 cents per day.
