Your Ritual

Everyone has their own little "rituals" to their smoking and everything related.

When I smoke at home, it usually goes something like this, unless I want to smoke behind the garage.

I dive over my bed to get at my box of good stuff and grab all my gear, pocketing everything. Then, I go in the bathroom, shut and lock the door, toss a towl down under it, turn on the vent/fan and proceed to toke up.

When by myself, I smoke in damn small amounts at a time. We're talking like a few crumbs of weed, here. Then I flick it out and have another. It's like the greatest way to conserve supply.

After the tokage, I blow out my pipe and put everything back into baggies and into my pockets, then wash the hands and brush my teeth. After that, I'm pretty much smelling like normal, so I turn the lights off but keep the vent on, leave, and close the door behind me. Get back in my room, put stuff back where I got it, and sit down in this computer chair. That's the defining moment when everything has been accomplished and I'm high as fuck.

Chill time.

 

Get my pipe, load it, toke it up.

 

I weigh out a half of gram of bud. Grind it (fuck whole nugs ), separate it in 3-4 hits dependin on how my lungs feel. Get the bong and fill it. Go in the garage, smoke each hit , smoke a half cig, enjoy my high.

hahaha right on, smoking rituals are amazing.

i grab my piece, bud, lighter and ozium from my desk and go into my bathroom. i slooowly open the window (the kind where you spin the thing and it opens at an angle) and smoke about half a bowl, holding my hand over the bowl to put out the cherry/keep the smoke in. during this time, i look at the planes flying overhead and possibly the stars =). once high, i cash the bowl into my sink and run the tiniest little steam of water to use for washing out the sink and my face and brushing my teeth. spray ozium, close the window, and i'm set for the night!

 

If I'm going to toke in my room:
At first I always like to tidy things and organize my room, I then turn my lava lamp and some good tunage on (what ever I'm diggin at the time). Then I'll start heating up my vap while I grind up some herb and pack the whip. I then sit on my couch and let the tokage commence. Afterwards I usually listen to music, meditate, play CS.

But most of the time I like to go for a good long walk or bike ride if I'm gonna toke, in which case I just bring my pipe and a small bud, find a chill spot and proceed with smoke.

My friends and I have our rituals when we smoke together too, but I won't go into that right now...

when im at home its similair to other people....im a bathroom out the window toker. in more ideal circumstances im very unstructured....just pass it around and toke on it when it comes around.

I've stopped toking in my house, but when I did i definitely had a ritual.

When I woke up I would go to the bathroom and smoke a quick bowl right by the window with the shower on and the vent on. Then I would take a shower, (which is quite an experience when stoned), i'd then put on some cologne and make sure that the bathroom didn't smell too bad.

My night sessions were a lot more ritualistic though. I would usually watch tv with my parents and then when they went to sleep I would get everything laid out on my desk in front of me. I would then grind and chop up my weed into the smallest size i could get. I would then pack the bowl and make sure that there wasn't any spare weed on my desk. I'd then hide my bowl and go down stairs and grab the munchies i had a craving for that night. I'd then go upstairs, turn on some Bob Marley, and toke up standing on my bed exhaling out the window. Then, i would pack another bowl or two and just sit in my chair and blow the smoke towards the window (usually because I was already too stoned and lazy to stand on my bed). After that I'd turn on a movie get into bed and start eating. Those were some good times with good bud good music good movies and good munchies

 

nowadays my ritual consists of looking at how much weed if have. then cutting up more if needed. then ill reach behind my bed or sofa and pull out the bong. towl the door. i put a dumbell down against it to push it shut, and hang a dressing gown over the side. sounds complicated, its merely blocking off the air circulation through the door, which is pretty damn strong in my house. once thats done, i just open the window, and smoke a cone in my ghetto. then pack another if i want and smoke that. then return the bong to where it was, and pull it out when i feel like another.

if my mum is around, ill spray deoderant to mask the smell, she has the smell of a hunting animal

my ritual got alot simpler for myself, when I got a vaporizer. Normaly I would always have to run to random places, or drive out somewhere, or spray obseen ammounts of cologone in the bathroom.
But then I got a vaporizer. Thing is tho, vaporizers have totaly different rituals. Theres alot more preperation that goes into vaporizers, whether its a volcanno, or a VaporBros (like mine) or even a vaporizer pipe like the Vapor Genie.
The other thing about vaporizers tho is, theres hardly any smell with it. I have an air purifier in my room (due to my asthma and allergies) and when I use the vaporizer, it basicly eliminates all the smell there is... so I can once again, smoke in my room, and not have to worry about the smell at all. Which is so very nice.

Anyway, ritual goes like this...

Turn on the Vaporizer.

Wait around for about 5 minutes for vaporizer to Warm up.

Pick out a bit of herb that im going to smoke, then immidiately grind it.

I then need to find a piece of paper so that I can funnel it into my vaporizer Whip.

I then Funnel all the weed inside the vaporizer.

If I have any Kief that I want to smoke, I then get out a little bit of it, and sprinkle it on top of my already filled bowl.

I then get out what ever Im going to use to smoke the weed with, whether it was a Bong, or a pipe, or whatever.

I connect up the glass on glass connect from my whip to my bong (or whatever it is), and make sure it does come out while im smoking.

Then I take hits from the vaporizer.

After each hit, I take a little dentists tool thingy, and stir up the weed in the bowl.

And then after the first 3 or 4 hits, I empty the vaporizer bowl into my grinder. I then regrind all the herb. (We do this regrinding, because for some of the denser and stickier herb, the vaporizer cant get to all the stuff thats deep on the inside. So when you regrind it, it makes alot more of that inner material exposed, so it then hits like greens again)

I take all the regrinded stuff, and then funnel it back into my vaporizer.

and then keep hitting it, and stirring it after every hit.

After im done, I dump the used weed into a baggie, where I collect the vaporized weed.

I then put away the bong and vaporizer.





and thats it, and wow. Now that i see that on paper, I do realize how much of a crazy ritual I have.

 

Alright well mine is...

Me and friends know this secret area in the woods we go to toke up ... lol its filled with water bottles around so i guess its not that secret.

But we usally use a water bottle bong , that we make.
Basicly we pull the down pipe in , do a little dance put the weed in smile and toke

 

well, i recently lost my pipe Nigel, but my smoking ritual still hasn't changed TOO much, I guess. I go into my room, load up my joint/bowl, whichever I am lookin' to smoke. I never smoke in the house, because I live in a basement suite and I don't want to disrespect the rules of the house. I usually hop on my bike (I hate driving around, I do it all day as a job so I love biking), pedal down to this really nice secluded park, lay under a tree that someone else spraypainted "420" on, and just give 'er. I don't have any strange little things I do though, like eccentric ritual things...

 

yeah i dont have the luxury of smoking inside so about everynight me and my bro wait for my mom to go to sleep then smoke until we get faded

 

My neighbor and I smoke around 4am in the hall of our building.

 

mine is if my folks are gone i lit up some incense, open the windows in my kitchen, and tok up while reading the paper and listen to music.

If they are home i either do the same thing only in my tv room or i go out on the back porch and smoke.

with my friend usually we just roll wherever we're at and smoke house, outside w.e

 

i love to toke by this tree near my house. its so nice there.

i love sitting in a circle with friends, and smoking. you gotta make sure to have good music, and funny people around.

boxing vans are the best.

 

If at home:
I work during the day, and when i come home i see what's going on with dinner and taking a shower, because i am a gross ass when i come home from work. After that, i like to set up my weed on my desk and grind it all up, and then pack it. I usually smoke outside on my back portch or i take a walk to a local park if it's nice. I love to hike outside and smoke, and so i do it as often as i can. I then usually go home and read in my room while i listen to good music, eat good vegan food, and enjoy my high.

If at Carbondale, SIU:
My buddies appartment (hey Caterpillar, if you read this) is a free smoking zone, as in anywhere we feel like it goes, and we smoke a lot all the time, no matter what. We all sit in a circle and pass the piece/joint/blunt/bong/vaporizer. we then go for drives through the back roads in Shawnee National Forest. Sometimes we drive out there and go hiking too, and smoke joints out there. There are some beautiful caves and climbing rocks (if you're into climbing).

I'd say that 60% of the time, i smoke alone. But i like it that way, and it is by choice. It's when i get all my thinking done. But i fuckin' love that 40% when me and my friends are all smoking and laughing together.
