banyan tree in hawaii. in hilo, i think? and the same tree, from closer. if you got a little closer than this, you could see where some homeless person was living, i think toward the left side of the picture.
Gimmie a home amongst the gum trees with lots of plum trees, a cockatoo and a kangaroo, a BBQ out the back, a veranda out the front and an old rocking chair.
Full disclosure, I didnt take this picture. Everytime I try take a picture of this tree there's like 10 people hanging around it in the frame. But i do like this tree!
I had some pics of the trees from my 2011 trip to Hawaii, but I don't know what happened to them. I found the outdoors there fascinating. It's tropical and very different from California where I live. Went to Sequoia when I was a kid, but I didn't take pictures, and there weren't digital cameras then. We had film in those days. lol. Shows my age.
