Do you get to do anything fun at your job? We have prizes, and ect. it makes it nice to come to work... I don't think I'd like my job as much without those things.... heh.
EA, you remind me of a friend I have. Just insanely so, I think it's the attitude and the avatar (she's quite gothic, for her tech product she made a coffin to hold art equipment. Twas awesome).
I'm leaving in July, so i don't do a lot of cousneling because I have short-timers syndrome. Today I played Uno and go fish for 3 hours straight, it was fun. I told the kiddo to pick a color (he put the color change Uno card down) and he said 'poop'. I couldn't stop laughing even though my specific job with this kid is to teach him social skills. I agree with him, Uno would be a bit more fun if poop and pee were a color choice.
I get to eat whatever I want when I have free time, if they need me to come up and fix something or help them unlock the safe or something that only takes a minute, I get free ice cream or sodas for me and my ride, it's actually a pretty fun job because I try to make everything look like it does in the commercials when I'm not fucking slammed. It's like an art...making food that looks good when you work in a fast food joint.
I'm a stocker. The most fun thing about that for me is breaking down pallets. It's a great workout, I get such a rush.
what makes my "job" fun is all the animals of course! i brushed a whole bunch of cats. got my forehead cleaned and shocked at the same time by one cat. i sat with 'magic' a big goofy lovable dog for about 20 minutes scratching him through the cage. i love him. he'd be great on a cold camping trip.. i know he's a snuggler.
Fun in my job is being the only one on duty so I can do more or less whatever the fuck I want Also fun (or just a relief) is a night when I don't get fucking mad people try to blag a free night's stay.
most things about my job are fun.Whether its talking n petting all the critters or releasing the rehabbed critters back in the wild. Playing with all the spring babies is neat (coons, possums, squirrels, bears, birds, etc Only thing that isnt real fun is cleaning the snake room. I am just not real keen on cleaning diamond back rattler and copperhead tanks
I work by myself most of the time too, sometimes with my manager. He's cool, but sometimes I wish I had a fellow girl to talk to. The only other girl stocker in the store is a bitch. I like it sometimes though, I get more accomplished if I'm not running my mouth. I also like being in charge of myself, I typically just have basic guidelines of what I have to do.
I'm not so much gothic, I kinda was in junior high... I picked that avtar because it represents how I feel inside... I do have a bit of an attitude. You're friend must be awesome. haha
