When I'm sad it helps me to write so here goes. What do you think is an acceptable spread for an older women/younger man relatinonship? What do you think is an accpetable spread for an older man/ younger women relationship?

Oh...I get it.... I think it depends on personality and maturity more than age. I'm 19 and my last boyfriend was 28, but we met perfectly in the middle...

If you're like 16 and he 30, I don't think that's cool....Once you turn 18, it's all up to you and I don't think it really matters. Look at Anna Nicole and her geezer...that worked out.

 

I think love transcends age.

i think age doesnt matter. Experience and maturity do.

Some people can be less mature at an age you should be considered as mature and vice versa.

but in terms of falling in love with someone or having a relationship, it's means nothing.

This is going to sound really terrible but I said to be honest so here goes. I think that older dudes with young chicks are nasty looking (some of them anyway) but I dig it for me. I get hot when I see some older dudes from television but I think it's nasty when you see that wide spread age thing. (Except Tony Randall because he carried himself with such class and elegance.) I dig older dudes but I think to myself no no when I see then with young girls. My ma says old men don't turn her on and a younger man is much better. She says men get old too darn fast and you need the young ones to keep up with you.

 

Older guys are sexy, but flat out OLD guys are not. IMHO, of course.

 

What is Old though? I've met guys in their 40's, 50's, and 60's with younger hearts than some 20 year olds. It's all about mindset. But then again, if someone bases things totally on looks and goes with that GQ model type thing, then I dunno, that's different. Meaningful relationships can't be built on looks alone though.

Well then your ma has obviously never met my husband My hubbie is 22 years older than me and we will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary next month. He's a hippie and a musician and he looks DAMN good for his age! Plus if I had to say who was the more "mature" one in our relationship that'd be me *lol*. And as far as the sex goes.....no prob there I really don't think people notice much of an age difference when they look at us together 'cause I look my age, he looks younger than his, we're both hippies and so "connected" it shows, ya know? To tell the truth the only thing that ever bothers me is that he will die before me. But hey, I could get hit by a bus tomorrow.....ya never know.

 

I'll be 50 in July. But, I don't feel a day over 48.

 

I don't see it as a morality issue,it's more what level of annoyance the older person can withstand.

I'll be 32 in June, but I don't feel a day over 31 1/2

A relationship with an older person is ONLY cool if the older person is wealthy. If you’re screwing an old man/woman who is poor, then you’re just pathetic.

Older men who are rich for the most part are cocky about the fact they can get all the young chicks, why would you want to sleep with someone just for money when they are going to ditch you in a week anyway?
