*For these decades, it was virtually impossible to pick one song. There are literally dozens of songs that could claim that spot for me. But I'd go crazy trying to over-analyze it.

 

1950's: Mack the knife - Bobby Darin (Melodic, Mood piece)
1960's: In my life - Beatles (As time goes by = more relevant)
1970's: What the World needs know is Love - Tom Clay-version (The intro and outro make it special)
1980's: A different Corner - George Michael (For when I think my life is going around in circles)
1990's: The Masterplan - Oasis (For we all need one)
2000's: Toxic - Britney (Naughty/Nice Video)
2010's: Chandelier - Sia (I think cos I saw it on Dance Moms)

 

Opera is timeless, but this still remains one of my all time favorites.
