That's funny, you may not know me, but you tend to remind me of a couple-years-younger, female me --- and a couple of years ago, he was my favorite by far!

I don't like that one anymore.

I loved it at first, but over time, I realized it's just "controversial issue"-porn, no better than Hostel.

Although, I guess it's definitely the best showcase of how powerful his acting can be.

I really like his role in The Painted Veil.

 

The Illusionist.
is a very close second for me.
The ending is gold.

 

Mine is Fight Club hands down, He is a good actor in pretty much all he does though.

I think of Steve Carell as more of a comedian than an actor. He hasn't really had a role outside of his normal charactars.

 

thats true but he was in get smart, that new one that just came out.. uhh dinner for schmucks i think, and a few others. But i love him in the office the best

 

^ Get Smart definitely had a little bit of acting.

I was amazed at how much better that movie was than the previews.

 

Christian Bale, but just 'cuz he's hoooooootttttttttttttt. I admit it clouds my judgment of his actual acting skills. I hear mixed reviews from others ranging from "he's awesome" to "he sucks ass" so I don't feel I can give a fair assessment. My favorite as far as acting merit alone, I have a hard time choosing just one...
