    What do you think?

Do you think your best days are behind you, right now, or ahead of you?

    I'm 31 now. I turn 32 in a bit over 5 months. I'm optimistic about Age 32 for me.

Anyway, I think I'm more mature with a better since of right and wrong at this time in my life and during the past few years

I think I have more obstacles now though than in my past.

I'm still optimistic enough to think my best years are ahead of me.

We had a thread like this not long ago.

If no one much answers and you're interested you might do a search for the thread. As I recall, lots of people answered.

not right now, that's for sure. 70 hour work weeks are not sustainable.

i'd like to think they're still ahead, but college will be hard to top.

best days happen of their own accord, and circumstances that give rise to them are often difficult to predict.

  9. Hopefully ahead.

Can't remember what I said in the last thread. Probably went on a ohhh I'm just married the future will be brilliant!

To hell with that, right now I'm living in the moment and past/future doesn't matter to me. :)

Plus I'm awesome and I know my future will be great anyway. :p

well I'm 67 and have had a pretty varied life, travelled thru more than 45 countrues, lived in three different ones, been mostly self-employed, had a few different businesses, had sex with around 65 women and about 150 guys so if I drop dead tomorrow I don't feel I can complain.....

but to answer rhe question... I'm not going to say that rhe best is behind me because who knows what's ahead......hehe .....more sex with both sexes I hope, and more travel.

    Simon :)

Not quite the question but I always find it funny when people describe weddings as the happiest day of their life.

Kind of hope my answer is always ahead of me. It depends on frame of reference. When I'm 80 and I can't run anymore and things hurt it might seem the "best" days are behind me but it's the ones ahead of me I'll be here for, so aren't they the best, by default? What I mean is I hope I can sit in a rocking chair and enjoy the smell of the breeze and not think about the things I can't do.

The only thing I can be sure of is that, as of right now, the best days were behind me. My childhood. Things were simple and I wasn't as jaded.

I'm happy with parts of my life now. I'd like to think things are looking up, but who knows.

2012 to 2016 were probably the best, although 77-79 and 83-85 were pretty good too. and of course, there's always a chance for better ones in what remains of my life.
most have been ok. even the ones i had to camp out. the worst were probably more detail then you want to know.
