Young Hippies Gathering ...

This is somthing I've been thinking about all week. I really wanna plan a 'gathering' for all us forumers! I think we could make it work too. Most of us are on the East coast, so If we pick a central location, and are all willing to make a little road trip ... it could work. I was thinking around North Carolina would be perfect. Maybe Tenessee. Anyway ...

Heres the plan ... The Canadians (Antoine and Phil) head down to Mass. where Meli lives. Then you guys head down to Pennsylvania, where I am. We all hop in one car and head down the coast ... I don't know who else lives in this area, so sorry if I left you out. Then I know alot of folks live around virginia/Carolina ... so we pack up another car, and keep heading down the coast. Micha is the only person I know of who lives way down South ... so that's why I guessed on Tenessee. Seems fair. I think that would be really cool to spend a weekend with all of you! If we do the carpool thing and we all pitch in for gas money, it shouldn't cost to damn much.

What are your thoughts on this?

 

Oh ... and as far as Sam, Chris, Hugh and everyone else out of the US ...

ya'll can get a plane ticket.

yo, I live in Bucks County PA, I'd defintley be willing to come along and I'd chip in for gas money.
I had originally planned an east coast hip forums gathering for june, but i dont think it'll work out, as the park i planned to have it in is closed from damage from the flood from last year (they still haven't opened it back up- i thought they would have!!!).
If you need help arranging it, just let me know. Try posting this thread on the Events and Festivals Forum, and come up with more specifics. Because the more specifics you have, the more it sounds to people that it is actually going to happen, which means the more people are likely to want to commit to coming.

Hey Dylan ... I remember you plans ... the New Hope gathering right? I was looking forward to that falling through. I'm gonna plan it out more if people seem interested. I don't know how many people would be willing to make a raod trip like that. I love road tripping though ... I was born for that stuff.

 

Smokey Mountains maybe? How about Gatlenburg? I could talk my parents into going there, maybe. They already know I want to go on vacation there.

Well we could all go to Zimbabwe or where ever you are, but I don't think everyone here would want to buy plane tickets ... so we'll leave that up to you.

Summerrain - where at in Pa are you? The New Hope gathering can still be made a reality, just not at the same park.

ya man, it'd be pretty sweet, only thing is, i doubt my parents would be down for that lol, letting me go to the states meet ppl from the internet. i think it'd be easier for me when im 18 to do something like that.

but we never know, i might run away some day.
