According to history, I'd say a big yes for the majority, but they always seem to hand pick a few survivors for the rebirth of the world.

 

Some extraterrestrials may want to help improve humanity, others use us as a food source and then there are likely those that don't give a shit about humans but just want our planet. Not sure which ones will arrive first...

I sometimes think Homo Sapiens is the blueprint for life across the Universe. In evolutionary terms, anything that deviates from this basic design doesn't stand much of a chance. If this is true, then life may be very few and far between.
