I think some rap singers/groups are good I am a big OutKast fan.....I love em. RUN DMC kicked ass too........... I am not one to listen to a lot of new rap but I have a special place in my heart for snoop dog.​

 

The thing about rap is that it is purely lyrical. So for me to enjoy a rapper, he has to have some very profound lyrics.

I like Mos Def, and some underground stuff.

 

Mostly all punk music sucks! the songs are so simple and carelessley put together, and theyre really short too.

 

Whoever sings that "I am a Redneck woman" sucks ass.

I know who to add to this list... Toby Keith. Why? He thinks sticking a boot up your ass is the American way. That song, whatever it is called, just really bugs me. Plus, his little pompous face is just longing to be smashed with a guitar... :H

Toby Keith is FAR from country. Ryan Adams, Todd Snider, Hank Williams lll, Wayne Hancock, and Dale Watson are what country really is.

Wow. There are so many bands out there that people hate, it's hard for someone to choose just one to rant on about. I'm unable to choose one, because there's so much mindless, commercial music out there. A friend, one who is in a rock band, once told me, "You can't say a band sucks. You may not like them, but you can't just say they suck without understanding them," or something like that. I suppose he's kinda got a point there, but I still think some bands/"artists" just plain suck. Especially anyone who sings about the "powerful" and "just" USA as though our country has done nothing wrong.
