You kids snort wellbutrin?

I was sprescribed Wellbutrin as a backup to dexedrine, to try it out in case I didn't like dexedrine. I loved dexedrine but can't get another script till tomorrow so I'm giving wellbutrin a try, and it sucks. So I've been crushing it and snorting it.

I remember doing this one time before & playing Zelda on N64 and it was the funnest thing ever.

Anyone else have any experiences with it? Is it kosher? I don't want to fuck myself up but I'm not using these stupid pills for anything else.

Wow i wouldn't snort any pill let alon wellbutrin. Anti depressants are the devils candy, my dad takes wellbutrin it seems like hes fine but still id never trust that shit. I think if anybody needs to be happier than thats what weed and lsd is for.

 

yo' I was in the wacky country of Iraq n them doctors sometimes wanna ask if your cool and all.. they gave me some buzzbars (busperion ) white bars with 3 pill like things on them... I remembered smashing them with the end of a canteen. snorting them and was buzzing my balls off... They make you fly, To me it was like a surge euphoria. We already knew that you could smash em and stuff..

 

They're a different kind of antidepressant... much closer to add ADD medication, which is what it's prescribed for. It's stimulant, and I used to have an amphetamine snorting habit. So far seems ok.

 

its been proven to reduce nicotine cravings (if you happen to be a smoker)
reason is, wellbutrin acts as a nicotine antagonist, so it stimulates the part of your brain that craves the nicotine, while still staying off nicotine.

 

I'm not a smoker. I have ADD. And haven't been able to get an appointment with my doc to refill be dexedrine, so have been tring to make this backup plan work .

 

^never said you were, but that is a proven use of the drug.

and technically wellbutrin hasnt been aproved for use as an ADD medication, but alot of doctors still prescribe it for that anyway (just sayin', those are the facts)

 

Yep. I know that. This is just one of the many options my doctor gave me to try out and see what I like. It is useless so I was wondering is there are any fun uses it. It is a stimulant. That's why it's prescribed for ADD.

I guess I will blindly go ahead and snort it... but stay within my daily does to be safe.

 

Do yourself a favor and reserve destroying your nose for something that actually gets you high.

Erowid.org is your friend. The trip reports on there say people trip when orally ingesting high doses of welbutrin, but the side effects don't seem too pleasing. Don't just go snorting random shit thats retarded.

 

My doctor gave me welbutrin for that.
I never took it though.

ive done a high dose of wellbutrin. i tripped pretty hard. there were colors everywhere. everything was all bright. then my arm went numb and i had labored breathing. i was pale as a fuckin sheet of paper.

turns out wellbutrin can get you high but there is a risk of heart failure when you take over the prescribed amount.

Im sure you could sniff benadryl and get high also, but.... that wasnt my point, i wasnt trying to say wellbutrin doesnt get you high, just simply that it is stupid to snort it. If you take wellbutrin to get high then you might calling drinking coffee in the morning a high also. That being said, snorting wellbutrin is about as stupid as snorting your morning coffee.

I know erowid well. I did go there first. I have read about people doing it, but also know it's not the most awesome thing in the world. I wanted to see what people here would have to say about it.

The general consensus is it sucks. I didn't love it, so, the end. It is a stimulant, though, and does have stimulant effects. I only tried snorting a tiny amount, but it was enough that it had some effect. It's ok, but just whatever.
