...and it seems ok. But if you're at the same public place in a bra and panties, you'll feel terribly embarrassed. .
I rarely see people walking around in a bikini if they are not around a place that it is appropriate. Once in a while I see someone shopping in a bikini top and shorts. That is really rare though.
I take it that you weren't at a Tesco store. You should visit the Tesco store chain in the U.S. They have a strict dress code. You can't even wear long pajama bottoms, even if you have a shirt, shoes, and everything else. .
I had to look that up. I was not familiar with it. It appears that it is posted in all stores? If that is the case, then I guess if you wish to shop there, no night attire is to be worn.
So I wonder what would happened if you showed up there with pants that looked like pajamas but weren't really pajamas. .
I guess they have the right to ask you to leave. If you know their policy why would anyone show up with pants that could be questioned if they wanted to shop there.
True. I guess the customer could always go to the Walmart across the street. I don't think Walmart has a rule about pants that might look like pajamas. .
Perhaps that's one of the reasons why Walmart's annual revenue is at least 10 to 20 times higher than all the other retail giants in the top 20, like Tesco, Kroger, BJs, etc. .
No rule there that I am aware of. I have never seen a sign posted about dress code at all, so other than that I am not sure. I do suppose that would depend on if the customer wanted to.
That and everything is so cheap there because they continually threaten the Chinese who make it to charge less or else they'll take their business elsewhere.
