They've been attempting to measure these incredibly tiny statistical deviations for about half a century with little success, and this discovery comes out of left field. They found a similar result with neutrinos actually changing mass, as if they couldn't decide what kind of neutrino they wanted to be. My own speculation, is that we are swimming in a sea of virtual particles, or imaginary time, and it is the virtual particles that cause this kind of behavior. Time has been measured flowing backwards on even macroscopic scales, and the past can change measurably in cases like the Quantum Zeno Effect. Anyway, the idiots keep dancing around the issue, because none of their mathematics can even incorporate Indeterminacy, in addition to, true and false, and everyone is waiting on the computers to spit out more mathematics.
