my brother got married 2 weeks before his 18th birthday to a woman that was almost 30 ( can't remember exact age) and they are still together. Their 19th wedding anniversary will be in March. Sometimes age only matters to others, but age is just a number, so don't worry about it so much.

I think it's more uncommon for a guy to be younger in a relationship, especially at that age, simply because their development is somewhat more slow in certain area's.. but ofcourse that differs from person to person and apparently you and him get along very well so.. yeay!
