So, I in another thread, I mentioned that I have an addiction. I have an addiction to unravelling sweaters.... and koolaid dying. I have a yarn basket, and its overflowing. I dumped it all out, to organize it, but took a couple pics to show you just how out of control my yarn addiction is.

Anyone else have a huge stash? I am totally set for when the Zombies attack/appocolypse... my family will have lots of warm clothes, I tell ya... haha.

Starting at the bottom left corner with the orange-red, and going towards the center of the pic until you hit the pink... all of that is koolaid koloured... along with the pink/black stuff above and to the left of the pink yarn.

Half of all the yarn is from unravelled thrift store sweaters. The brown on the needle is from on sweater. The red/black koolaid yarn, along with the white/black stuff in the upper right corner is all from another sweater...

Oh... those are all granny squares... lol. I have 2 rows of an afghan done, but its something I work on only occasionally. I have a tiny, tiny attention span, eh?

he he he. our yarn collections look a lot alike. i was keeping it in a mesh laundry hamper but there's too much of it. i've move to a rubber maid tub with a snap on lid. now i don't come home to wall to wall unraveled yarn in the mornings. Penelope cat had a tendency to get into the yarn and make a mess.
