i help people and i enjoy helping and i feel better about myself by helping others, why do you help others and the enviroment?
Because knowing i am makeing a small improvment on the life of anouther is helping the world in some small way, and that the person i am helping may just realize that selfishness is generaly destructive. I try to perpetuate happieness at every opertunity and change things via example. If i dont then who will? You? that guy over there? the government? I help because i have the ability to help. In the discource of human events those who have the ability to make change have the RESPONSIBILITY to make change.
It's common courtesy. Do unto to others as you would have them do unto you.... or something like that.
Hobbes' version was better: Conset to have no more freedom over others than you would allow them to have over you. (ie: Negative Golden Rule).
Kindness is one of the greatest ways to influence people. I push the carts in grocery store parking lots all in the thing where they go because I know if that was my job I would appriciate somone be kind every once and a while. I am a janitor, and i love it when people put their trash in the big bend for me. Plus it makes me feel great to help other without them knowing who it was and I like playing in the carts while putting them away....... enough of my madness. Peace.
Apparently I help people and take care of the environment. Naww... I help as much as I can (especially with educating some people) because it's just nice and I try to be nice sometimes. The way I see it is: We belong to the Earth, the Earth doesn't belong to us. So I try to respect Mother Earth as much as I can.
I'm good to the environment, cause if we're not then we're all completely screwed! This is a planet, not a trash can.
