seriously who makes up the names of these drugs?

maybe they are aspiring scrabble professionals who need more words with ten point letters.

it got to the point where I just look at my wife and just say, "xeljanz tofacitinib" and she rolls her eyes at me.

 

The more complicated it sounds the more trust simple people have in it.

 

it makes sense that it would be the same group of people who think that prescription meds should be marketed to the patient in the first place.

Besides their ludicrous product name they already have been sued and criticized for dubious marketing techniques.

 

It can be rather awkward when a doctors asks for your list of medications and you can not pronounce them.
