I'm going to a slightly stoopid concert coming up and i have problems with anxiety when smoking especially when i'm in public and most def with a ton of people so i plan on getting some xanax from a guy i know for it. Anyways ive never done it and know nothing about it except i know the pills are called bars. What's it like while high off weed and xanax? How many pills and what dosage do you recommend? How long should does it take to kick in? I'm trying take it before hand and then smoke right before i head into the concert I'll update later once i found out the dosage of the xanax he has
First of all.....great fucking band! I'm seeing them next month with Tribal Seeds. As far as the Xanax goes.....be careful. Don't drink with it. I can take a very small dose along with 2 beers and all of a sudden I'm sloppy drunk. An entire bar even without alcohol will make me black out. I haven't had any in years because they fuck me up to the point where it's not fun. Stoopid shows carry a real good vibe with kind people. Maybe your anxiety won't get too bad? If you take some take a very low dose.
I personally odn't know anything much about prescription drugs but a brother of my firend was on Xanax and he used to drink more and take more Xanax and before long he had to go to hospiatl to withdraw from the Xanax becuase he had got out of control.
I'd say .5-1mg of xanax would be great for social anxiety. Don't take too much or you just won't remember the show.

if you have never taken it before.. .5 mg -1 mg at the most i would say..first time i took it i took 1.5 mg and was on my ass asleep in 45 min..now if you take it a few times a week you would be able to take more ect I am like you..i get anxiety when i smoke and if i take 1 mg of xanax or my lorazepam it takes the anxiety away which is nice
okay thanks for the info man I also have one more question How much does a normal bar cost? I don't want to look dumb if i don't know how much the cost is or i don't want to overpay lol
A bar, Yellow, White or green are 2mg. IMO break it in half and take it as you walk out the door. It will take effect in 20-30 mins. 1mg will give you a nice buzz that will last the show along with smoke. Price wise, I dont think you can talk about it, But i pay $3 and most ill pay is $5. Anymore and you are getting fucked hard. Its usually a couple dollars a mg. Good luck, Have fun and BE SAFE, Dont wander off from friends.
I think half a bar is too much for someone who's never had it. He's not trying to get fucked up on them, just ease his anxiety for the show. I'd quarter it, but that's just my opinion.
1mg is fine for a first time user in a crowd. Same amount you would get from the ER if you came in with a panic attack. Usually 2mg lorazepam which is equal to 1mg xanax. You can always get a couple and try before hand. That way you will know if .5 knocks the edge off or if 1mg and i know im good to go with no problems. Either way im no DR so its only my opinion. But id try it first if you have that option. Good luck either way
Trying it first is a good idea. I have a low tolerance when it comes to benzos.....a half a bar and I'm stumbling all over the place like I've drank 12 beers. If op doesn't have the option of trying it out first to see how it effects him.....I'd recommend taking a quarter of one and bring another quarter just in case. But I'm also no doctor.

^ That's why I say to just take 1/4 of a bar. If you start to feel uneasy take another 1/4. A lot of people are sensitive to benzos and if you want to enjoy yourself it's better to start small.
a buck a piece...your parents must be proud! OP I has having an anxiety attack tonight and i took 3 mg of xanax and barley felt it but it took the anxiety away. in part becasue i have been taking it for about a week now and have tolerance. if i took a 2 week break 1 mg would feel like a lot
i agree. i do this quite often.. if its just to not freak out, 1/4 bar (0.5mg) is perfect. or since youve never done it, you can even take 0.25 before, then another 0.25 after you smoke. as for how it feels. you feel high, minus the anxiety/paranoia, but extra sleepy lol
