its like they took the process of making shit, generic pop music, put it on television, and let people vote on it. i mean, its EXACTLY like that. it is that.
There are a few indie ones here in Aus that first got noticed through shows like this In this country anyway, I think they are better at uncovering indie stars better than mainstream And for all, getting yheir 15 mins is still better than nothing I dont mind watching the shows, just that no one really seems to get anywhere after they are finished Even in america, 30 or so seasons of these types of shows and really only 2 pr 3 that got anywhere
I watched the series when Matt Cardle won, I think I even voted for him haven't really bothered since then. I'm a sucker for a good voice, but there's far too many vacuous wannabe's on it for my liking
X factor and other reality shows like the apprentice, big brother are dying a slow and painful death. ditch them and think of something original. bbc and itv can make decent programs when they want to.
It has destroyed the hopes of real talent, how can they compete against this shit and the fact that us Britons swallow it...We used to produce the best musical talent on the planet now we are laughed at.

The X-Factor was supposed to be better than American Idol, but I honestly do not see a difference between them or even The Voice for that matter. They are all horrible excuses for musical entertainment.
