Do you feel it is taking away from the overall experience?

eh, that's pretty normal. I don't get any more mosit than normal no matter how much I'm turned on. And orgasms are often induced with friction, which will get rid of moisture that's there to start with.

If it's bugging you, why not invest in some good lube?

Go to a sex store, ask the clerk for some help. Explain that you're looking for a sensitive lube that doesn't cause yeast infections. They are out there. Rub some between your fingers so you can feel it, make sure it's not a texture that will gross you out or anything.

I've also heard you can use cooking oils (like veg/canola/olive) but I'm not sure how those would factor into yeast infections

also anything oil based will damage condoms, if you use them.

i always find that my vagina tightens up considerably after orgasm and i have to use lube then.

In my opinion these two statements contradict. Foreplay, in the sense of the word does not (usually) involve orgasm.

First, what activities are you calling "foreplay"

Second, from my experiences with women, most are drier after orgasm. That natural lube can run out ya know.

Third, also from my experiences women are very different from one another some get wet very easily, some extremely difficult, but the correct type of foreplay (depending on the woman) usually will eventually turn them on and get their juices flowing.

KY brand seems to work well, but don't use it if your partner will be performing oral later, IT TASTES HORRIBLE!

ok firstly, "MOST" girls cannot reach orgasim from prenetration, so fore-play to me is, fooling around, touching, licking, tickling, and eventually being eatin out till I get off... or whatever. Sometimes I dont... How is that a contradiction?

As for Lube running out.. It never used to with me till recently... Now i am semi dry before and Totally dry after orgasim...

Thirdly (since we are counting here): I know every girl is different, "HI, I'm A Girl, I have chick friends"... And guess what? None of them have problems with natural lube.. Except me, thats why I came here for advise.

As for the KY brand of lube, it burns... not fun at all.

well, maybe you're just not getting turned on as much as you used to by the same means. This can happen. [IMG]

Have you been taking a different birth control pill? I've heard those can cause changes that result in what you are talking about.

So, with your definition of foreplay "licking" and being "eaten out" souldn't be a problem considering there would be plenty of saliva there, wold it not?[IMG]

Do you want to help her or are you just here for a debate? If the saliva was enough lubrication then she probably wouldn't be posting this.

KY sucked for me too (and yeah, it does taste horrible). It feels itchy, has trouble warming up, and just feels wrong. If you're not using condoms then I recommend jojoba oil. It's very gentle and natural feeling, not all silicone-y like KY & Astroglide.

Also, I have to ask this because it's the middle of summer and with that usually comes dehydration (which can affect the moisture of ALL parts of your body): Are you drinking enough water?

Debate? I'm just asking questions and trying to understand the problem. I guess I just don't understand how being licked and eaten out isn't enough lube, geesh.

Isn't it obvious from my other suggestions that I am trying to help?

There are so many variables to this problem, that a thorough understanding of the problem may be necessary to solving the problem. It could be psycological, drug related, hormone related, diet related, etc. The solution could follow many lines as well: finding the right lube, adapting activities to the circumstances, investigating ones psycological perspective, clinical intervention etc.

by-the-way, I think your suggestion of dehydration is a good point as well.

Is vaseline supposed to be bad? (if doing it condomless) it works for me.

I got dry for the first time ever with my boy, vaseline did the trick. he usually can keep me highly aroused for hours. guess he wore me out this weekend :(

Jojoba oil can be found at pretty much any health-food store, and if you can't find it there then you can find it online (which often provides better prices anyway).

I don't really have any natural lube problems since I usually soak my bed but I do have something else to add to this. I used to have the problem of not getting off during vaginal sex. Usually my clit has to get the brunt of the attention in order to orgasm. How many positions have you tried? I've found what works best for me is both in a sitting position and me on top. Gives my clit a little rubbing action that makes me cum violently. If you ever correct that lube problem, you should give it a try.. you might find it highly enjoyable.
