800 mgs are time released, like taking a 200 every other hour for 8 hours.
600 are the strong ones.

Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. 800 mg is for moderate pain and/or swelling. It is not time-release. 800 mg is stronger than the 600 mg.

You should not use that dose completely unsupervised. High doses of NSAID's can be very hard on your kidneys, among other things. You should be monitored for side effects.
