so i've been up late at night recently. and occasionally i will have something sounds pretty close to a flashback i guess. it starts with a headrush and patterning in my vision, alot like nitrous. then i get these strange audio hallucinations, that sound really alien, not like nitrous but closer to lsd. i never believed in flashbacks but this it can really freak me out and be extremely intense. i wouldnt be worried if that was the only problem, but a couple of nights ago the same thing happened. but it was closer to a salvia experience. it felt like i was falling through an infinite number of different realities at hundreds of miles per hour. then i went into this very strange and realistic dream that i was still having this "flashback" in my room. then my dad walked in and bent down to get something, but then he disappeared and everything was melting and changing colors. next thing, i am in a parking lot and it looks like it is 3:00 in the morning. i see cars very detailed and i notice that one sedan type car is parked extremely crooked. i think something about walking back to a hotel and walk by these three creepy looking guys who stare at me. keep in mind this whole time i am dreaming i think that i am tripping, and everything stays true to the trips i have had on lsd. next thing i know i am in my room still feeling something that resembles the comedown body high off of salvia. my mind is in disbelief, as i thought that this whole dream was a reality. the weirdest thing is that i have just recently cut down on my weed smoking alot, but these flashes are getting more intense. sometimes they can be enjoyable but the last one i had was just plain weird. has anybody else experienced something like this? does it sound like lsd flashbacks, or do you think i have a bigger problem?
People often report weird and very vivid dreams after they quit smoking weed. But you say you just cut down? This is the only thing I can think of.
I have noticed having DREAMS (not daydreams or "flashbacks") that were just as strange as you describe (perhaps even moreso), after I cut back on the herb a bit.
