wtf?? i got ripped off

i bought this off ebay for my mom for xmas coz i got a extra ebay buck for free off of it. it cost 13 dollars handcarved palm wood from thailand.. i thought it was gonna be a real one but this thing is so tiny... its not even big enough to use as a weapon

no didnt but i think it did list them.. i'm not disappointed. just surprised me when i first opened it..

 

i could see being surprised at the size, if you expected it to be bigger, but it is a beautiful piece, and probably more efficient for most tasks. i have a marble one, about twice that size (two hands cupped) and for doing smaller amounts of herbs its hell. they get spread out too much, and i never can get it all off of the bottom. with a smaller mortar it collects and falls back to center, not all over the broader bottom of a larger mortar.

so... i dont think you got ripped off.
