Hey there, I just remembered something the other day which I thought would be great to ask on here to see if any others do it or know much about it.. But anyway, what I was curious about is writing while dreaming. My ex girlfriend use to do this and it was really fascinating and interesting. If she left paper and a pen by her bed, in the morning she would wake up to find she had written in during the night. Most of what she wrote was readable, some wasn't just due to written messily. Often they would just be random words, or a random sentence. Sometimes she would remember something similar from her dreams, other times not remember the dream at all. Most of what she wrote though seemed to have some importance. So have any of you ever experienced this, know someone who does, or know anything more about it? Thanks Cameron
Sounds interesting- when I write poems its also in a dream- like state of mind and I cant improve them by working on them later.
I have been told that the written language part of the brain is dormant during sleep, I disagree somewhat in that although I have never written anything during a dream I have definitely read things. I have also lucid dreamed a fair bit, and during periods of constant sleep deprivation had dreams play out in microsecond bits that seemed longer than they were as I was trying to get a very short bit of downtime.
