wow!!

I thought when i joined this forum I would find alot of like minded people that cared about the environment and life on this planet in general but all i've found is a bunch of immature kids that don't seem like they know anything ro care about anything crazy.. you might want to rethink stuff before saying your a hippie also if you say your not then why would you be posting on this board

 

yarr, so many people are ignorant. its gets to be so very frustrating.
i think tv and all the crappy food people eat that keeps them from thinking for themselves.

No... we're just bored... the board is usually wildest and least serious on friday nights and weekends. We're actually pretty damn random but when there is something serious, we'll post... we're just really laid back about it all. Most of us do care about the environment... but we're all really close here, so we tend to not talk about it a whole lot...

(this isn't one of those OMG... she fucked my boyfriend kinda places like those teen forums)

 

also thanks for the elitism that comes with not being what the narrow minded view of what a hippie is...

also i don't know what the motives behind chaos' post is, but cause im not really having the most fun of nights mi gonna continue...ignorance is not the problem with people...it is also not a bad thing or a crime...apathy is what is stopping people from getting thngs done...ignorance is simply not knowing...apathy is the not careing part...

1. This is the young hippie part of the site. It other parts there are some more adult people. Since you joined really recently i dounbt youve had time to assess the entire forum, nor have I, but on other parts of the forum i have dicovered plenty of mature people. Im not yet sure about this part yet...

2. Once again this is the young hippy part of the site. In a youths life there is alot of changing so some of us cant really determine if were hippies or not yet. And you dont have to be a hippy to post here. Some people are here because they like the people. Some are here for other reasons, but my main point is that you dont have to be a hippy to post here. If that was how it was it would be discrimination against non-hippies. And thats wrong...

Sorry if thats hard to understand. I have trouble expressing myself with words.

hmmm, didn't realzie my opinion was so controversial... thats just my hoonest opinion. not so much about people in this forum but the western world in general. i do suppose apathy is a more accurate term..

 

Look, if you want to discuss the environment, go to the environment forum. If you want to discuss politics, go to the America Attacks! or Politics forums. The Young Hippies forum is just a place where a bunch of young people who all (basically) know eachother and post nonsense. It's fun... sometimes.

We do sometimes make serious threads (or at least I do) in Young Hippies, but this is really just a place to kick back and meet people. Besides, can you imagine how boring a forum would be if everyone only talked about the environment and "hippiedom?" I'm sure that forum would suck.

Look, this has to be one of the best forums on the web, and I really can't see how you can come here and start bashing it. There are a ton of forums here, including a slew of personal forums, so if you can't find a place to post here, then you won't find a place anywhere.

Oh, and for the record, I'm not a hippie, yet I post here... oh well.
