Wow... the job market is really fucking tanking (hospitals laying off people)

God damn. My aunt is a senior RN at a hospital. She said a ton of people got let go today. These are people that have been there for years.

Holy shit. Everyone is hurting.

 

i cant get a job worth a shit, ive applied to somewhere around 30 companies.
this shit blows, wtf is obama gonna help the economy

 

I'll probably need a job pretty soon so yeah. Shit sucks.

i said a long time ago NO JOB SECTOR, not even health care or law enforcement would be immune.. and yes cops are being laid off as well,this has been going on for a couple months now.no new news here..

as far as fast food, around here no one is hiring. the people who have the fast food jobs sure as hell aint losing them.. a job is a job..

its not without its irony...i fucking HATE!!!!!! snow...but its my bread and butter...

 

The economy is still booming around here. Places always hiring, the turn over rate at places in this area is ridiculous. I blame it on drugs. But yeah, if you guys all move here, then hellz yeah, jobs all around and when those are filled, there's like a billion people here, so we can start new businesses...it's a fantastic solution.

 

That is only temporary, though.

 

I really don't care. If the world is going to go to shit, if it's going to end, whatever, just let it happen. I can't control what happens tomorrow especially by myself, so there's no point in wasting the time I could be enjoying life worried about tomorrow. If I die in the next half an hour, at least I'll have died doing what the fuck I felt like.

My old job, out of the blue, called me yesterday and asked me to come back to work.
But yeah, it's funny to look at the classified ads. BLANK as shit. Our town chronicle usually had only about 5-6 postings a week, now it will go weeks without any.

Our little hospital/clinic has been letting go of people left and right for awhile, but to blame that all on the economy isn't really all that fair considering, with their change of owners and what not.
