Would you ever shave

How attached are you to your hair?
Could or have you ever shaved your head (or maybe just make it really really short.)
If you did, do you think you'd be as pretty?

 

damn, I know it's not that important but I was just wondering...

 

I don't think i could do it...i like my hair. After fighting with it for about half my life its actually the way i like it. I've cut my hair short twice.....it was more annoying then then it is now. When its long(or chin length, like mine) you can pull it out of your hair with clips and hair ties

 

I cut my hair really short on a whim one day, and after a week I hated it. But at the time, I didn't really have much of a style and I couldn't really carry off the short hair look. I then grew my hair out until it was down to my ass, and I liked it that way. Now I have dreads, and they kick ass. One day I'll probably want to change my look and have to shave my head to get rid of the dreads. I'm not exactly looking forward to it, but it'll be interesting and I think I'd enjoy having a shaved head for a while... So yeah, I'm not exactly scared of the idea...I just wonder if I'd be able to pull it off...lol.

 

I could never shave my head, in fact I'm trying to grow out my hair...

Oh my gosh that is weird...I just had a dream two nights ago that my hair was back to the length it used to be (almost to my hips, then I got a Beatle cut in July 2004), and it was its same old wavy, glistening mound of chocolate locks...and someone shaved my head! Ugh, I could never do it. I am too sentimentally attached to my hair....Never! The hair on my legs, maybe (although I haven't since 8th grade), but on my head? No way!

I cut my hair pretty short one time. It looked but I'm glad it's long again now. I hate the feeling of having a bare neck.

 

I like my hair and I wouldn't exactly want to shave my head, but.. it's just hair. I'm not that attached to it.

 

I've never even cut it short, no way I'm going to shave it. I don't really like it, it's pretty thin -but no way in hell I want even less of it than I got...

 

I have my head shaved, It's great you don't have to spend money on all those expensive hair products, and when you get up in the morning it's one less thing to worry about. although it's not everyones cup of tea (I did a post 'do girls have to have hair to be beautiful?')

 

I use to have hair down to my butt, then I cut off a foot and a half of hair all at once! It's very addicting!!! Now my hair is 1" long all over! Much more easy to deal with every day and ALOT cheeper!

 

I could do it. Hair is not that important to me. The great thing about hair is, it grows back! You can do anything you want to it. It will always come back.

i shaved my head like tank girl once, shorter than a half an inch in the back and green and yellow bangs in the front, i loved it, was so easy to fix my hair for school in the mornings, I was only 15 when I did it and my mom freaked out. haha I Only know of one existing picture of it LOL

No, I can honestly say that I could not shave my head or cut my hair super-short because it wouldn't look right on me, and it would seem completely out of character. I love my long locks, and I hate even trimming it sometimes, even though I know it will look better once it's done!

I like to nuzzle my face in my hair while going to sleep at night, I like to twirl my hair around my fingers while in deep thought, I like having so many ways to wear my hair, I like how my children bury their heads into it while I'm holding them against me, I like when I wear my hair in pigtails or two braids and my husband walks past me and lovingly tugs on one with an impish grin on his face.

Nope, I couldn't bring myself to shave my hair, or even cut it really short.

 

How attached are you to your hair?
Very in that it's joined to my scalp, but otherwise whilst I like having long hair it's not that big a deal and probably wouldn't be missed.

Never have, and can't see any reason why I would. If a situation did arise then sure I'd do it.

Yeah sure. There are plenty of other attractive features to compensate.

 

I think i would shave my hair off...but i dont know how comfortable i'd feel after i get bored of having it that short...besides, having longish hair is more versatile, you can do more stuff to it if you get bored of the same old look...i'm planning to get it cut before the start of my summer holidays...ah we'll see.
