Would Anything Really Surprise You?

Be honest,would aliens landing,the second coming of Christ or the ruling elite revealing themselves as shape changing lizards really come as much of a surprise? I'm so jaded and wired for weirdness I really wouldn't care and don't think I'd be much impressed.Who could give a shit.It's nothing I haven't seen on TV or at the movies.

 

The Trump victory surprised me, so I'm sure that aliens, reptilians, and shit would surprise me much more. I feel sorry for you that you find yourself to be so jaded. I would highly recommend spending less time on the internet.

at this point, living in a universe that seldom pays much attention to what i would like,
that things happen i don't like, doesn't surprise me at all.

this is why, when something really good does happen, i cry tears of great joy.
like i did just the other day, when someone on the bus, pointed out to me
there was a rainbow in the sky.

i believe i know a little something about why we haven't seen OPEN contact from the rest of the universe,
that we have a lot of growing up to do, before a universe that isn't as messed up as we are,
would want any more to do with us, then to watch and see if and when we get it together,
or become a real threat to them that has to be destroyed.

or maybe its just how far the distances are, and the speed of light being what it is.

i'd love to see a ship from one of the worlds of one of my previous lives come by and take me home,
but i'm pretty much convinced to expect to die here like anyone else.

still strange things that are good do happen,
they just tend to be overlooked when we're not open to them,
while the unexpectedly bad, seems so much louder and harder to ignore.

 

Didn't care much about the election, but I was surprised Trump won with all of the crap he smeared. Went to sleep, woke up, and all I could think was,"Really America? Really?"

 

Jaded suits me fine.I wouldn't cry for my mommy and I was greatly relieved when the alcoholic argumentative cow died.I was quietly confident Trump would win,question lot of those "Don't knows" in the polls were just shy of saying they were for Trump.

I think something big is on the way but I don't know what,could be societal change,global consciousness awakening.I think finally the truth is coming out about all the shit that's been going down.I think we're in for interesting times ahead.

 

It’s easy enough to say you wouldn’t be surprised if aliens landed on the white house lawn, but until you’ve actually experienced it you really don’t know how you’d react.

Okay so I play devil's advocate.Just trying to make conversation while I'm here.Not so serious.

 

All those scenarios would surprise me, the Aliens one is the only one that I don't find completely absurd.

 

I'd be completely taken aback if people stopped being dickheads in general.

 

lol Many things surprise me. The reactions i get from people and observing how people react to certain scenarios surprises me a lot. I'm often surprised by how awesome i truly am.

 

i don't have a thing for surprises really.
most of the surprises i have seen have been more disappointing then not.
nice ones can happen though,
and there are some i would enjoy seeing.

there will be a silver lining for the few alive after the ecopocalyps
but it will take too long for anyone alive now to be among them

lizzard people are no better or worse then anyone else
but they aren't running anything on this world,
we are,
mostly by ignorance and stupidity,

second comings are history, as are third and forth,
just another thing christianity gets wrong,

Ok, what about this for ya... What if Space Aliens came and hovered over the Earth in Ships and they shone a beam of light at which a levitating 2000 year old Jew hovered down from, which then prompted all the ruling elite to morph into Giant Lizards?

 

more truth is hidden by lack of interest in the non-epic details of reality, then by all the efforts by anyone to hide it. which is not to say those don't ever occur too.
yes, people may once again learn the hard way why fascism isn't really a very good idea, and socialism isn't a dirty word, but more like what every religion including christianity had in mind.

What would surprise me is if all the weirdness suddenly stopped. I often tell people shit happens and, when it stops, look out! As best as I can figure out it reflects a recursion in the law of identity and the fact a Theory of Everything is about to be revealed. You can think of it as a phase change in physics such as a pot of water coming to a boil and converting to steam. First it just bubbles for a long time, then it goes crazy and, finally, it starts converting to steam. Things are getting really weird because big changes are coming, but there may be hell to pay before we get there.
