Any part of Florida. Especially the Orlando area. What a fucking dump of a fucking place. I lived in the Honduras for many, many years, but that probably falls under the "slums of India" category. It is a beautiful country though. Little Rock is a shithole among shitholes among shitholes, among shitholes. It has a pretty great metal scene, but the city itself... and the race divide makes it a disgusting place. I cycle, and I would get hassled by the homeboys almost everyday on my way to work. I had to start carrying a taser and a knife on me, and I had to flash it more than once.
I dunno, I've been in a lot of places that were not-so-rich, and that doesn't necessarily mean they suck. Lots of downtrodden areas can be oddly charming and unique. So Honduras might be one of those locations.
Honduras is charming in its own way. It also has the highest murder rate in the world. Being white in Honduras is no fun. You can't really go to many places, can't go out at night outside of secured areas, and basically are always in danger of being robbed/murdered for absoultely nothing.
agreed..I used to live in a distant crappy suburb of LA and it was terrible, that is why I moved south..
Haven't even visited one? I see LA as as polluted, grimy, large and bustling. Never been there, but I don't find it particularly alluring.
I concur with the above sentiments as regards the entire state of Florida, although I spent a few months homeless in Fargo, ND being turned back from the Canadian border and having to disappear. The weather, the scenery and the general attitudes of the cities inhabitants were among the most depressing I've ever been a part of.
I probably visited bad places but wouldn't know since I was only passing through/having a good time there. Whenever I had a bad time somewhere I can't say it was due to the location itself, since I generally have not stayed there so long to know for certain it was a bad place or not
i have visited Harlem a few times. driving threw Chicago back when i was 18 i would have said that was the worst but honestly i was also in some areas of the city that were great, not sure if Chicago names areas of the city like NY does but even if so i dont know what areas i was in when i was there. giving more time i could come up with more i am sure.
your location says "can you guess" well of course i CAN but will i guess correctly? how about mexico?
def not Mexico. I like my head intact..but I have been there at least 30 times..One time tripping on Acid on New Years in TJ..what a crazy night that was..
The common denominator of best and worst is here and now. The worst State I've been in is fearful and the best grateful.
