Any one read it? Its an awesome book about a zombie war that almost wiped out the human race. told after the fact in the form of interviews and peoples different accounts of what happened in different parts of the world.
Sorry for the necro, I just noticed this post never got a response. World War Z was absolutely awesome, in terms of pure fiction. The method that the story is told in is totally seemless, and immerses you in the reality of a Zombie-world. It certainly is a bit scary, especially if you're not a fan of horror, but the whole experience of the book is worth it even if you're not a fan of the genre. Personally, I can't stand horror, books or movies. But WWZ is still one of my favorite books due to its realism and the fascinating premise. A good companion book is the Survivor's Guide to a Zombie Attack... or something like that, I don't remember the whole title... it's written by the same author, and is written in the same realistic tone, although its written in a "guide book" style.
I thought World War Z was alright. All in all a decent book, but not really my cup of tea, to be honest.
