First of all Bush was the first president that sign the bill to prevent late term abortions. Appearently you missed that one. Abortion is murder. Years ago we had laws to prevent this sort of thing from happening. Your position on abortion amounts to this. If a murder is going to kill someone, we need to find a way to make it safe for that murder. So when he or she decides to kill a baby, they can do so without hurting themselves. The God of the bible did not destroy the world the first time, because he was only interested in peace. The God of the bible is looking for people to stand up for the truth not for what's convenient. Murder belongs in the back alley. God could care less about peace in America, He is going to allow nations to rise up against us because we are a violent nation that murders it's own citizens. You can not kill 40 million people and think God is going to look the other way. American support for abortion sealed or countries fate. Today their are about 40 nations working on development of nuclear bombs. Many of these nations hate us. The bible clearly states that are nation was hard pressed against the holy God of Israel. It's is because of this, God is going to turn our nation over to our enemies. I beleive America has about 30 years left. Regardless who becomes president, America will fall. The war on terror is useless. I understand what Bush is trying to do but Americans lack the will to stop what is going to happen. Once the world has nuclear weapons the game will be up for us. While our enemies build weapons to destroy us U.S. citizens will be worried if the one's we capture are getting a fair trial. Before the Titanic left the dock people were saying it was the greatest ship afloat, they said not even God could sink it. Today American's are saying United States is the last great empire, we are the most powerful nation on earth. Well America has just pulled away from the dock, and most American's still believe we are unsinkable. Revelation 18.

 

So my opinions are wrong because some old book tells you I'm wrong. I'm not upset, I'm just amazed at how you would let some book lead your life and your decisions. Maybe it's just me, but I like living my life by my own beliefs and my own decisions. You, on the other hand, seem to enjoy doing exactly what this dusty old piece of shit tells you to do. In the hopes that your mighty God will reserve a spot for you in the sky. Talk about a waste of a life. You only live once, campbell. The difference between me and you is that I live it to it's extent, while you live it the way your holy book tells you to. Sure, maybe you've got your satisfaction of knowing you're living life by God. But I've got mine knowing I've lived my life the way I wanted to.

 

You forget to mention that this is all opinion. You have a right to your opinion, but you cannot take other's rights away from them. And not everyone has the same opinion as you that abortion is murder.

And who said America is unsinkable? Your anaologies are cute, but it isn't even close to accurate. There are people calling for change in this country, the country is divided down the middle as to how it should be run. I don't think anyone that is calling for change considers us unsinkable. Many American's, regardless of their political divisions, are concerned about the direction of this country.

If over the years I had found the bible to be in error I would of drop this book long ago, but the God of the bible revealed himself to me in many ways that I cannot deny. The Jesus that died on the cross is not dead. He is alive like the bible declares. I have herd His voice, I have walked the approches of heaven.
My life is fulfilled because of Christ. He is truly a God of wonder. Blind faith is not my faith I know who Jesus is, and He is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. A life lived for self will be full of emptiness, a life lived for Christ is a life filled with wonder and expectancy.

Except it's not an opinion. It's Biblical. God himself had harsh punishment on someone who even accidently caused harm to an unborn fetus.

And as Kerry said he will wait untill we are attacked first. A Lot of good that will do Chicago or New York. Then we will wait for Kerry's global decision to see if there will be a vote condeming the attack. Of coarse by that time 40 some countries will have the bomb, because American's did not have the will to stop them from acquiring them. And we will not know which country actually gave the bomb away. It,s more than an opinion it comes from the word of God. The muder of American children by abortion is going to bring disaster to our nation. The day abortion becomes illegal is the day this country breaks it's constitution. The constitution set up in this countrys founding days. We can not bend the will of our government to the crys of extremists. Doing so would infringe even further into our given rights.

Our bodies are only containers of who we really are. Death is not the end far from it. Every person ever born is still alive. When you die you will find it is only your body that has passed. Abortion was never voted on by the American public, but was pushed through the courts by judges who did not care about the will of the people. It was the judges that had free choice not Americans. Don't worry, this country luvs it's abortion. I'm sure doctors will be crushing babies heads and sucking out their brains for years to come. And of coarse your interpertation of the constitution is far more important than the millions of childern which will be murdered . You say i'm selfish. I don't have a book faith, I know this God. I have experienced Him, He is alive, and He will be returning to this world. Shortly before He returns the bible states the Jews would return to Israel, they would retake Jerusalem. They will be surrounded by enemies. The world will want to push the Jews out of their land at the end. The bible states the East Gate would remain sealed before Christ Returns. The world would have weapons that would destroy cities in one hours time. Russia and her allies will rise up to destroy America and Israel. And God's protective hand would be removed from our nation. What is going on in the world was spoken about in the bible thousands of years ago. The American people do not know what they have done. But their actions have put into motion America's destruction.
The bible clearly states that our country will be compleately void of all people as a punishment for what we have done. And because of our sin no man will ever be able to return and live in this land again. God states that no one will even be able to remove a stone for a foundation. America is going to be completely radiated. This is not my imagination, this comes right out of the bible. We are in the Last days. Soon every country that hates us will have the weapons to destroy us.

And while that is very nice, you avoided my initial question, which is why can God kill but not man? Obviously killing is not right, but this is a valid question.

But back to abortion, how is an unborn babies death so important if his soul will go on anyways? You said death is nothing to your God. You have completly and successfully contrasted any points you were trying to make before your last statement. You stated that that baby really dosnt die. Only his body has passed.

So, you're entire argument against abortion is done with.

The reason God can take life and we can't, is because He is the giver of life. God is the ultimate power in the universe and He transcends every other being, government, and kingdom. Everything that ever was or ever will be belongs to God. His laws and authority remain intact. Those who neglect His laws of life, position themselves for eternal damnation and punishment without end. God will preserve the lives of the innocent, but will deal terribly with those who spill innocent blood. Only God knows what horror awaits those who murder, and then suddenly find themselves before the throne of the living God. So many people pass on from this life only to realize this horror. The stories of Hell, demon's and fire are real. There really is such a place, and it is a dumping ground for lost souls not covered by the blood of Christ. Avoid this terrible place.
