World Events and Going Barefoot

  1. Tigers Woods and his personal transgressions....
David Letterman and his personal transgressions....
Bernard Madoff and his criminal transgressions....
Eliot Spitzer and his ethical transgressions....
More troops being sent abroad to die.....

All WE do is go around without shoes. After all the above (tip of the iceberg, etc.), what the fuck?.........

    And your point is, exactly?..

You're a weirdo. And a borderline creep, pardon my french.

  3. My point, child, is that, compared with the varying horrors committed on the national stage, going barefoot doesn't begin to compete as a transgression. Clear?

This is one angry thread...I think this guy is 'out there' too with this one - but be happy people.:)

  5. Holy misinterpretation, Batman!
All I meant is that with all the real bad behavior people demonstrate, taking advantage of each other, etc., going barefoot is such a "nothing" for people to get upset about, given the REALLY bad stuff that happens every day.

It's back to bad poems for me....

I posted a thought about culture.
Folks came down on me like a vulture.
    I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
    Please, y'all, not to worry.
I didn't intend for to hurt ya!

To Be Honest, I Have Never Been Comfortable With The Word "Weirdo":(.

I Personally Prefer The Term "Eccentric", And This Is What I Say To

Friends When They See Me Walking Through Snow And Frost Barefoot..

"I'M NOT WEIRD, I'M JUST EVER SO SLIGHTLY "ECCENTRIC"....:D.

    Keep Em Bare...:).

    Cheers Glen.

after this my tolerance for Alexandra dropped well below zero, and i'm still in alpha. so far the barefoot forum was peaceful and bash free for what i remember until your ugly head popped up. and nuspieds' point was pretty clear so i don't care whether you have behavioral issues or you are just plain a retard, please move the fuck outta here and stop annoying decent people.

Honey, when I begin to care what your tolerance level for me is, I will MOST ASSUREDLY let you know. :)

For a 36-year-old, you certainly know how to throw a tantrum, tee hee :) Speaking of behavioral problems :)

This is a public forum where anyone is allowed to post anything and open up a discussion or debate on a topic. All poor Nuspied has done is just stated an opinion! If you (Alexandra and Barefootgurl...!) are really not happy with the content of a post, or something offends you, then there is a formal reporting procedure to go through - USE IT! Don't just use the forum to slag off people 'cos you disagree with them.

Sorry - off my soapbox now! Happy toes :)

I purposely stayed out of the “nuspieds bashing” that was occurring, but feel a need to voice a request. Would it be possible to condense your comments into a single thread or just a few threads? Looking at my computer screen, there are 21 threads on page 1 of the “Barefoot” page. Of those, 14 were started by nuspieds. Of those, few have more than single digit comments, and three have no comments. My concern is that threads are being created that have little if any interest, are diluting the content of the forum, and pushing many of the traditionally more active threads to the back pages.

Beyond that, I agree with danmo’s comment that this is a “public forum where anyone is allowed to post anything and open up a discussion or debate on a topic.” I’ll support nuspieds right to post anything. I’d just like other contributors and other topics to be able to maintain a presence as well.
    :)

  15. Thanks, guy.
This is a public forum. People post as they will, some briefly, some at length. Many recent posts were by a troll or two, who appear to have been banished. If your favorite topics get pushed down, go looking for them. They're YOUR favorite topics, perhaps not those of others in this public forum. As well, I've really enjoyed contributing, and my posts ("twitterish" as someone said) appear to have attracted a fair number of eyeballs. The more attention this Barefoot forum gets, the more "publicity" barefooting gets. For the "good of the team," etc.:)

nuispieds, this is indeed a public forum; what it isn't is your own goddamn private soapbox. Maybe you ought to get yourself a twitter account and see how many followers you can attract?

What you are doing is called flooding.

Don't think for a second you can shout me down, kiddo. By the way, I had a good laugh off your private messages; care to send more?

  17. With goodwill, good cheer, and purpose---to promote the happiness of going barefoot.

Let's hear about one of your experiences, rather than a personal rant.

Nuspieds, I'm just asking that you create a single thread or just a few threads for your postings. Something like "Nuspieds Thoughts for the Day" and have at it. As far as your comment "They're YOUR favorite topics, perhaps not those of others in this public forum," I believe the lack of follow-up comments to your numerous threads supports my position that other threads are more popular but are being pushed to the back of the pack.

This is a very reasonable and fair request, and I would hope that Nuspieds would show consideration and respect to his fellow forum members by accommodating it.
