My nieghbor was injured at work and would not go to doctor because she said they would test her. I smoked with her last week so i know if they test her she will fail so is drug testing automatic or madatory for workmans comp claims?
not in canada it isnt...at least it wasnt...only for train engineers and brakemen or pilots.....BUT they are trying to also make it mand. for the comstruction trade next......but it isnt for injury..its for crashes and crane collapses etc...
I believe in the USA, if you are hurt on the job, and you fail the drug test, they still have to pay you worker's comp, but not the full amount that they would owe were you to pass the test.
Idk much about it, I know if you get injured on the job and you have to go to hospital for any reason they are supposed to drug test you (if your jobs going to end up paying the bill) They don't always drug test you immediately though, some times youll come back a day or to later. And they don't watch you piss, which means you can strap a condom to your cock or whereever to keep some clean piss warm and just dump it in the cup.
