So I got my dreads done about 5 months ago. I never really finished them, figuring they'd do it on their own, but they haven't. And by unfinished I mean not that tight, some coming undone and random hairs coming out of some. I have the beeswax to do it, I just don't know exactly what to do, I didn't do them myself. So yea how do I go about it? Thanks

Alright so basically all I got from the FAQ was that I shouldn't even bother using beeswax and that the person who did my dreads used the worst method(braiding). I have natural dreads in the back that look perfect, but the ones I had done are still half braids half dreads. I want them all to be as good as the ones in the back, and yes I know time time time but some of them are really messy and look like shit, so should I use beeswax or not on them?!?!?!?!

    No!

They're gonna look messy as fuck for a while. If ya really concerned about keepin neat, grab a crochet hook. I don't condone this, but it's a possible route.

Alright thanks for the info. I was really dreading, haha, using beeswax since it's so greasy and slimy. I'm glad to hear I shouldn't.

Brush out and backcomb or TnR. The braiding will look like shit, and never dread right.
