I'm up at 4:30 a.m and on the road by 5:30 a.m to get to my job on time....lately I have been having to skip on my morning meal until 9 or so when I'm settled in at work and this leave me STARVING......I need some ideas for either fast meals I can make in a flash in the morning or something that I can make ahead and have for the entire week. Now, I would like to keep it low fat, low sugar / salt and made from wholesome foods.....any ideas?
The first thing that comes to mind is fruit. Bananas seem to be very filling, and quite the "breakfasty" food. Yogurt and granola is good, too, as is toast. I usually skip breakfast, too, and just grab a coffee at some point before noon. Maybe I should take my own advice....
