advice and comments please i'm planning to continue to make the flower an overall red color using the same technique, the blocks of color, creating sort of a stained glass effect.. (though i realize that would have been achieved better if i had used watercolor instead of colored pencils) but i'm thinking of doing the background green, and am not sure what color to do the circles/bubbles... i was going to do them opaque colors, but now i'm thinking of making them look like soap bubbles... a light blue with white highlighting perhaps... anyway, suggestions would be gREAT!! (in the detail you can see where my 4 yr old sister decided to "help me" when i wasn't around.. please ignore those extra marks, they wont show up hardly at all in the finished product) thanks in advance for your help
it is beautiful and clever... a great way of doing it...its the sort of thing i really love...looking forward to see how it turns out! Roly.xxx
thanks for commenting guys i think i will go with the bubble idea.. and a light green background... do you think i should keep the outer petals as they are, or make them look like the others? hmm... hehe, i'm excited with this one, that's why i'm thinking so hard about it...
awesome painting/drawing. look for motifs all the time to imrpove your designs and you may try painting them on glass (like the ones at churhes), this way you may sell 'em. Having said glass, I think you'd do great in Ebru http://abone.turk.net/oktayeres/
its beeeaautiful! personally, i like the outer petals as they are, just my humble opinion of course. the color sceme makes me think of spring ahhhhhh spring *sigh* good luck with the rest!
