I haven't had a vacation in over two years...well, not counting the month I spent in rehab. What should I do?
the obvious answer seems like: take a vacation. but it's hard to really advise you without more info.
eat sleep play repeat until broke camp out in the woods get another job that leaves you more time to play and sleep and live without what it won't buy you. if you can take some classes that interest you and get payed enough to cover the cost of doing so for doing so, the more you know how, the more you can use what you know to illustrate the concepts of your own dreams. create and explore are what gratify every way you can reduce the causes of external stress i have always thought of as a good thing, however, i've also come to realize this might not be the most gratifying life for everyone some things are too dependent on our individual uniqueness for anyone to say for someone else
You should get on the google machine right now and book a vacation. Go somewhere totally different from anywhere you've been before. (According to drift you wont take my advice but I triple double dog dare you to prove her wrong)
If you don’t have any vacation time saved up or aren’t allowed any, then spend whatever time you have off, to relax the best way possible. Don’t sleep it all away, fit something in your off time that you can steadily see results such as working out, reading, writing a journal, learn to cook different dishes, maybe build something, etc. - something that doesn’t require a lot of time and makes you feel like you aren’t wasting your life away sleeping and working. Me, personally, as long as I can squeeze in a massage and some good loving during my off time every now and then, shit, I’m good to go for awhile.
You mean time off work, like an empty week? Or a trip to somewhere holiday-ish? I haven't had the latter in at least 2 years either. But I have a lot of spare time which means more to me.
