What words would you like to see being put to more use? I nominate: Oodles Smidgeon Bamboozled Eclectic
lol good thread. but i had to use an online dictionary to understand the first two words. could u use them in a sentence ? would this be a coherent sentence : "i want oodles of wine, but since i'm already drunk i'll just have a smidgeon instead" ??
amalgamate proclivity meticulous eclectic indifferent tentative redundant concurrent not really 'out there' words, but words instead i get called pretentious for using, although i see them as pretty basic english.
Yeah thats pretty good. Perhaps if you had consumed oodles more wine it would have been a smidgeon more difficult to construct the sentence.
Haha, good question! I guess that sentence makes sense, but the words are used so rarely its hard to know! I really only use Smidgeon if someone asks me if I want something...say cake, and I'll reply with ''Just a smidgeon, thanks!'' And Oodles is just a funny way to say lots of something I'd also like to see the word ''Spondoolicks'' used more often (if its even an actual word...if its not, it should be!)
oodles thanks for your copasetic answer. i meticulously try not to amalgamate french syntax and english syntax (hopefully that wasnt redundant).
Hello, OMFFFG, how I miss the times before web browsers, the times, when everything made out of, uhm, wood. Regards Gyro
I'm feeling a smidgeon bamboozled at the oodles of eclectic words in here, myself.... Bring on some more!
