My husband just told me that for our anniversary next month he is taking me to see ARLO GUTHRIE in concert. It's the Alice's Restaurant Anniversary tour. How am I going to wait an entire month for this concert?!!! Just wanted to share the love....LOL
hehe. I've schlepped my sweetie to thre-four Arlo shows (he always smiles, finds something nce to say and does his best not to be an old grumpy head-even made a dye with two dolphins forming a heart for him) I'm an old folkie, so this is sort of the apex of the touring year. I was NOT able to catch him last week--with John Prine. sigh. I took my sweetie to a show he wanted to see. Arlo might allow photography: no flash (security will come after the camera--flashes really hurt under stage lights and they are distracting.) he uses a lot of light, so a roll of 800 film should get ya some nice shots if you are close. Check the venue's rules. You are in for an amazing evening. Happy Anniversary! which one is it and what are you getting for him?
Thanks. It's our 27th anniversary, (and they said it wouldn't last......lol). What's nice is that we're still such good friends and really enjoy each other. I'm planning on getting him a banjo, something he's always wanted to play, but just never bothered to get himself one. Hope he likes it. I actually didn't even think about the photo issue at the concert. At concerts I prefer to just fully enjoy the moment and I find that trying to get pictures interferes with that.
