is the shit!!! does anyone else have it? ma dukes got it for me for christmas. i've watched it countless times.
Oh yeah, I have it! I loved it, only saw it once so far though cause my boyfriend got it not too long ago -
I did! I love it! I only wish that they could've had 2 DVD's instead of 1 double sided one. It gets confusing sometimes. Hopefully the first time I get stoned, I'll watch it.
Ive seen that dvd or vid so many times, I would always rewind and replay Joe cocker when I was younger, hmm still love that lol. i would replay all the the crazy stuff too, but till this day i love that. I always try to find my dad...
man...I have it, and love it so much! I like to get stoned and pretend I'm there best I can...sometimes end up crying but most of the time it's just such a great trip...
yeah i owned it myself as well the cds that go along with the infamous festival. i do agree that they should have it on two discs rather than one, because it's annoying to turn upside down and there should be more features, you know. oh well, its good that it was at least recorded for many to view until the end of time..
Awesome time, awesome Movie! My teacher went to Woodstock he said you couldn't drink any of the bottled water because it was dosed.... hehe
i've seen it so many times i practically have it memorized. i agree they should have bonus stuff. my dad bought a video with prefromances that werent on the dvd. like jonny winters. the band. ccr, and alot of others. its pretty cool
I really wish that the director didn't cut out Jefferson Airplane's "The Other Side Of This Life", that seemed like it was getting good, when it fades out into "Won't You Try-Saturday Afternoon".
I love this movie/docu. If makes me feel and understand the whole vibe back then. I love the comments in the beginning of the locals saying how kind they were. Times have definitely changed. Thinking about this movie, I shall watch it tomorrow =)
If only there was a place in this crazy world that we can all go to where we can hopefully try it again successfully. Why did the Rolling Stones do Altamont? It ruined everything for us. Who knows where the movement could've gone had things been done differently. But things happen for a reason, so let's try this little dance that we call a revolution again, and see where it goes.
Because they're fuckin lame. I love the DVD, seen it countless times, always so sad when it ends. The performances aren't that great(aside from a few, Richie Havens is absolutely amazing), but the whole atmosphere is amazing. Festival Express is another DVD in the same spirit, on a lower scale, and focused more on the musicians than the event.
