I'm kind of Skeptical about it actually happening, I am hoping for it though... Not a reindition of Woodstock '99 but back to the Woodstock roots of the beginning in'69... People are trying to make it happen, I mean it will be the 40th anniversary...2009!!!..yay or nay? share your thoughts

p.s. here's the official Woodstock '09 myspace, here is the link: www.myspace.com/woodstockfestival09

Yea, I'd love to see it, but If it's another woodstock '99 deal, I'm not going. That thing was crap. Yea I would love to see woodstock get back to it's roots for a psychodelic blues rock festival, but all concert people care about is money, and putting up ads everywhere and getting only people who make high budget music videos for VH1 to play. It'd be cool if they organized one of all the new jam bands, but If they did it probably wouldn't be that big or well-known

fuck Woodstock. that name will only bring the wrong crowd. there are plenty of better festivals.....the original guys who started Woodstock are actually douchebags...look into it....we don't need them around any more, they got lucky with the first festival....they didn't make it free, the crowd made it free. the music was good, but the sound sucked, it rained, there was alot of bad lsd, it was not that great, just something big and it happened first. neh, on woodstock. a mighty neh.

Woodstock will never, ever, ever be the same. could something like it similar happen? probably not, this was in a time of awakening. the innocene of the 50's was being washed away and people were trying new things. that is no longer new. it won't have the same impact ever. something new needs to happen. our next great event will not be a concert....

True. about the name this year it's Goodstock '07 Just a different name. I'm stoked about going... Goodstock should be great better than the previous knock offs... and Woodstock '99 was horrible...where the fuck does peace & love intertwine with acts like DMX, Limp Bizkit, Metallica, Ice Cube and corn??!??! damn woodstock '99
