Anyone here practice this particular strain? I visited a Won Buddhist temple a few weeks ago.

This "sect" was started about 90 years ago. One of the coolest things is they pray for what's called "The Four Graces":

1.) Pray for heaven and earth , for without the air, we wouldn't be aware that we ourselves exist on earth, and are separate from the air around us.

2.) Pray for parents ., for without parents none of us would be here

3.) Pray for neighbors , for without neighbors there would be no other with whom we live and communicate and function.

4.) Pray for the grace of the law, which if rightly functioning and structured, keeps society in some control and provides us safety.

Sounds a lot like humanism in a way.

HAHA. Wow..sadly, it took me about a full 20 seconds to realize what you were talking about :)

hehe. very clever. What's a word called that has two pronunciations like I read, or I have read? Is it a homonym?
