Well, they make the HPT's that can give you a result as early as three days before you would expect your period, but to my knowledge, that's about the earliest you can find out.
i've heard the same thing. And sometimes that's still iffy because the HcG hormone might not be strong enough yet. I'd tell her to wait until her period is supposed to come...that is if she has regular cycles.....and then test in the morning, when the levels are highest.
A blood test can tell within a few days of conception which would be about 10 days before you period. But most women don't suspect this early. But blood tests can detect HCG levels very early.
