What a horrible woman...... Trying to do others like her ignorant son.

Ho had a panic attack and decided to drive his car into a babys room at 100mph. Having had difficult times on drugn myself, I come squarely to the conclusion that he is at fault, but not as much as his mom, for raising such a foolhardy irresponsible douche.

Yeah and its not like this doesn't happen all the time with alcohol and pharmaceuticals. Her son is definitely at fault here, not a man who is smart enough to know that by placing all these chemicals directly into Schedule I it hinders the progress of scientific research.

Wow, looks like stupidity runs in the family in this case.

It's the kid's own fault, plain and simple. Who would she blame next, the car maker for providing the vehicle? How about the home builder for providing something for him to hit. It's the old gun argument, guns don't kill people, people kill people.

No one has the right to keep banning things just to keep idiots safe from themselves. You cannot steal the civil and human rights of 99.9999% of the population just to keep that .0001% safe from their own stupidity.

I feel sorry for her to lose her son, but to blame someone who believes in protecting the rights and freedoms of the individual for this is ridiculous.

I didn't think of this before, but to quote a (apparent) FDA employee:

"We can protect the fool, and we can protect the damn fool, but we cannot protect the god-damn fool."

Or to roughly quote, anyways. But the same applies here.

I think you guys might appreciate this: http://www.cracked.com/blog/8-lies-its-surprisingly-easy-to-tell-as-health-reporter/

[8 lies its easy to tell as a "health reporter"]

"Law enforcement is still learning about the shadowy nether world of shitty journalism. <- Fix'd
good, objective, non-sensationalist reporters don't use phrases like "shadowy nether world" to describe anything.

because she couldn't bear the torment of knowing her late son was responsible for his own death, so she had to go look for something to blame it on. Great!

These experts should check this wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weighing_scale . Scales, G, apparently the ancient Egyptians had 'em, but these fucks didn't

This fucking website. I come from a family of journalists and such a lack of objectivity and journalistic responsibility pisses me the fuck off. Fucking Ad hominem invoking cunts be worse than Fox News

before i even read the article, i'm gonna say that synthetic smoking blends are fucking stupid and i couldn't care less if they get banned. criminalizing JWH-XXX, or whatever the newest cannabinoids are, is one thing (that i don't agree with). but stopping these blends (which DO contain unmeasured amounts of highly potent drugs - so a scale doesn't help) from being sold over the counter, is not THAT crazy or controlling in my opinion.

edit after reading, it's so stupid how they imply that he died from synthetic marijuana. he died from driving 100 mph into a fucking house. it just so happened that he had smoked it beforehand. sure, maybe it DID have something to do with it. but the "logic" that's used to come to that conclusion is flawed... you could just as easily blame his death on oxygen or sunlight, both of which he came into contact with, before crashing his car like a maniac

It depends on where you get your blends... professionals disclose the amount of active per gram or ounce, yet all these professionals seem to only vend online. All the stuff at convenience stores and the like are mystery blends with not even an idea to whats in it or how much is in it. I'd like to see it all off the shelf, but I don't think is going to happen EVER. Even if a blanket ban happens they'll just use chemicals that are not scientifically know to be cannabiniod agonists.

Also I don't think this article is just about synthnoids, but all of HR 1254, as she is blaming Rand Paul for it not passing.

Oh I was more thinking abotu synthetic cannabinoids. I've had some good times on JWH's and the like and would hate to see those illegalized. That's what I was referring to when I mentioned scales, but I think that the senator is also talking about the chemicals, themselves, not the smoking blends. They should just figure out some legislation to ban the sale of the smoking blends in stores in the city or something like that, a way to ban the stupid method of distribution but not the chem itself (which is legitimately important for research).

And lololol: He died from driving into a fucking house!

    e: wooo 500 posts :D

God, people are dumb. Always pointing the finger instead of being a responsible parent.

The only reason these synthetic blends exist is because marijuana is illegal. They are just an attempt to get around the law. In my opinion they are crap, and actually can be harmful to you. But to blame what this guy did strictly on his use of it is complete crap.
