I have to take a drug screening today for a job I got offered at Publix.

Anyway, to prepare I have done the following, taken 2 AZO pills that my friend gave me (They're for women with urinary track infections so it cleans it out, he swears by them for his monthly screenings haha) and then I drank a bottle of detox juice that I got from Smoothie King.

I think I should be fine, but the last time I smoked was on Friday :-/

Yet I only smoked like once every three days or so leading up to that.

But whatever, this is just another will I pass thread...

Well...I just got back...

And I have a question, is this legal?

I signed a contract that said I would submit a sample of my urine and/or blood to Publix.

I get in there, and they give me an oral swab test.

First of all, how accurate is the oral swab test and secondly, if that legal for them to do that?

There is no blood in my mouth, and hopefully no urine either...so I want to know, is that legal?

They call me with the results whenever.

wtf, publix actualy tested u, thats gey. down here, they threatened to test me, they threatened to test some friends but never did. but it might be illegal but if u did not want to submit to that form of test test, only to piss thats their contract so u could i dont that form of test i want a piss test they legaly have to do so. but because you did the test consencualy theres nuthin to do now.

 

Yeah it was pretty shitty, cause he didn;t go, "OK, now you're gonna have a swab test." he just pulled it out...which sucks because it's not like I could've been, "Nope, don't want that, everything I did was so I can pass a piss test." cause then I would've just not gotten the job anyway.

 

if i was you i'd much rather have a swab test, cuz THC doesn't stay in ur saliva for long at all.

 

Yeah, but would it have gone away after only 2 days?

 

I've heard that saliva tests can detect whether you had done any drugs in the past 4 to 8 hours, so you're probably okay.

they do hair testing where I am going to be working, but the good news is, they only do it once.

 

I dunno, I was stoned when I took my oral test, and I still got the job. But I dunno if they actually sent in the test or not.

You can't get arrested for failing a drug test haha

All they can do is then give you a hair test, and even at that point you can't be convicted.

Anyway, still haven't gotten the results yet.

I dunno, but they did call me back for orientation, which I don't think they'd waste their time with if they didn't want me to go to that haha
