What are you all doing for the Winter Solstis?

I'll be back in Ireland, and'll head down to Bru Na Boyne to the New Grange solstis megalithic bronze age building there.

    Anyone else?

We (jaycee and i) are going to a winter solstice celebration at a friends house. She is a Pagan and celebrates every full moon. I only met her a few months ago as she was setting up a theatre company which i joined her with and we did a festival. Should be good fun as im going straight from work... however it does mean i will miss the traditional brighton Burning The Clocks winter solstice festival which i was looking forward to.

That was somewhere like the Orkneys - take it from me the North Norfolk coastline is colder and less sophisticated.

Take plenty of biscuits Jon - you just might get the munchies....

I get to work from 9pm to 5am on the solstice :(
My Mam said she'd get a bit of a fire on the go though.

So no celebration at all really, I'll probably sort out some of the gardening stuff so it's all set for spring. Clean the plant pots and whathaveyou! Kiiick ass.

Ahhh Bokonon, I think you should put some soil in your pocket at work or something. Anything. It sounds like a drag.

But keep yer chins up old bean....there's plenty more revolutions of the Sun to come.
