Winter is coming too soon. I was getting snowed on a little bit at work last week. I wish 50's and 60's was winter for me. Usually here its 10's-20's with 30 mph winds.

I dunno, I used to kind of like winter. Last winter here did it for me I think, I was running a service truck so every time there was a storm I would be working for hours and hours on the side of the highway. One storm it got to 10 degrees below zero with 40 mile an hour winds, I can't remember what they said the wind chill was that day but I was out for almost 30 hours straight during that one. I just sold my 4x4 and bought a 2wd car to give me motivation to get out of here before winter happened again. Its looking like the Sacramento area next for me if I don't end up home in Denver for the winter.

oh you canuks, always thinking canada has the worst winter anywhere. snow sucks, pure and simple. if i wanna be in the snow, i will go vacationing and snowboard. but i don't want it at my motherfucking house, lol!

so you're gonna go from the pits of frozen hell to the asscrack of hotness? sacramento's too far inland, it gets wicked hot there, from what i hear.

I took this one while I was on a service call. It was 20 miles out of town, we got 3 feet of snow the night before. The wind was about 40 mph so you couldn't tell that much snow fell until you got to something that stopped the wind, then you would find a 12 foot or higher drift.

I will be working in near Sacramento, but I think I'm going to try and find a place up in the hills.

ah. i have kind of a predjudice against the sacramento area. when it gets hot inland there, it pulls all the cold air off the coast (where i live) and sends us into cycles of searing hot vs. cold and foggy weather. it sucks. maybe i'll move to san diego. it's nice all the time down there.

I kind of liked it at first, now I can't stand it. It does have a kind of desolate beauty to it though. I took this one from the edge of a cliff near where I took that last pic just a few weeks ago. It's not bad in the summer but I need out soon.

San Diego is pretty nice all the time. I would have a hard time staying focused though with Baja so close.
