teh satan. try the computres forum maybe (though you may end up being mocked and told to use linux, satans child)
I got a new laptop that had it installed already. I can't seem to attach documents in emails and Im wondering if its the laptop or windows vista?
Might just be the e-mail server you are using, you might not have the plug-ins for attachment installed, so it also might be your browser (Internet Explorer is also satan, be warned).
I tried using windows vista at the Office depot store, and i almost put my face through the screen, all these damn warnings kept popping up and the windows went to fast and it wouldnt let me play the crappy lil one level pinball game...
Every computer that has Vista or an update IE has this problem, as far as I've seen (my mama's and stepdad's computers both do)... I easily fixed it for them... By downloading Firefox.
I've been running Vista since last May. Initially - in the pre Beta1 I had issues with Symantec, but that was corrected in Beta 1. I have had no issues with anything running on it since. And you can disable the constant prompts for administrator rights. IE 7 plus (Vista Version) is as good (better than, if you consider the fact that more companies configure their web sites to be compatible with IE over firefox) as Firefox, after all, IE 7 ripped off 90% of what Mozilla did with firefox in the first place. Vista is certainly not a required upgrade (yet), and it is also more intrusive than anything uncle Bill has produced as of yet. If you are wondering if you should upgrade, you would be getting Aero - so your PC can look more like yesterday's MAC. But you will also be getting a bunch of features that could also be freely downloaded for XP. And as for the original question, what happens when you try to attach a document to an e-mail? Do you get a prompt that asks for account info? Do you get an error? Does it crash your e-mail software or IE?
Hacker, I just checked and now it is miraculously working....I don't get it. Before, it told me there was a system error or something like that.
