Windows Vista..No Desktop!? help please

hey, i just installed the new windows vista and it just comes up with this window, instead of a desktop, ive tried everything but i just couldnt get a normal lookin desktop on there, all i work with is a window, im not used to it, and its kind of hard to control...does anyone know how i could use windows vista the same way all the other windows' were, with a normal desktop?!


(lol my english sucks, im sorry its my second language, basicly what im trying to ask is, "is there anything i could do to my computer to make windows vista have a desktop?!" )

theres no start button or desktop like there was in windows XP 98 95 ETC...

i kno theres a way to fix it i just dont know how, if anyone could tell me how, id greatly appriciate it! THANKS
